I have booked a Rome Tour with tours4fun and had an unforgettable tour. The price is quite reasonable, and the whole tour is filled with fun. pompeii and the amalfi coast are not near rome, they are near naples and that is 2 hours south of rome.



dont take a tour, that will be expensive and comically touristic. get a train from rome's termini station, the biggest in italy, and go to naples, you can also try salerno, a city south of naples. but really the beach wont look that nice in january, it will probably be raining..
