How many days should I stay in different cities in Italy?

My family is planning to go on a two week trip into Italy. We will be flying into Germany and then driving down through Austria. We would like to see these cities: Venice, Ravenna or Ferrara, Florence, San Gimignamo or Sienna, Rome, Pompeii, Amalfi Coast, Pisa, Genoa, and Milan. So we are wondering which cities and towns to visit and how long we should stay at each one? we would also like to know if we should visit a small town or a Tuscan Hill town? Thanks. How many days should I stay in different cities in Italy?
That will be a lot of driving for a two week trip, particularly if you're driving down from Germany rather than flying into Italy and renting a car here. You'll have relatively little time to see the cities you're targeting. Assuming you're flying into Munich, it's a six hour drive just to get to where I live south of Verona in good weather with light traffic. You also need to know that you will have to buy a tax sticker for your rental car in order to drive on the autostrada in Austria. If you don't, there's a big fine if you're stopped. You can get the tax sticker when you cross the border and at gas stations or tabak shops.

You'll need to consider either Milan and Genova or Venice and Ravenna or Ferrara for your route and not both. Trying to do both isn't feasible with two weeks unless you just want to see some of the cities from the car driving through. Personally, I'd spend a full day in Venice, then drive to Florence with a stop in either Ravenna or Ferrara for a few hours en route to Florence. If you're going to be in the area on the 30th of May, the Palio is held in Ferrara then. It's one of their big festivals featuring a huge parade from the castle in medieval costume.

I would use at least a couple of days for Florence. If you allow three days for Florence you could spend one day in Pisa %26amp; Lucca. Then go on to Siena for a couple of days. You can use part of one of those days to see San Gimignano - it's not that far from Siena. Then move on to Rome for 3 or 4 days to do it justice - there's a lot to see and do. You can do Pompeii as a day trip from there and depending on how much time you spend in the ruins maybe drive to Sorrento as well.

You can't visit all this city in two week!! you can't neither i two month!

However, I suggest you to visit: Venice (obviously), Milan, Florence (and also Siena and Pisa that are close and Rome.

You can visit this cities in three days for each, except for Siena and Pisa, because you can visit in one day for each, but obviously you can't visit this cities in depth. How many days should I stay in different cities in Italy?
I persoanly think one day in each city would be enough! Thatll give you enough time to see all the main tourist attractions!
Florence, Venice 1 day or more

Rome 2 days or more

:)
