How can you get rid of mosquito bites?!?

I came back from the amalfi coast two weeks ago and i'm still covered in bites!! they seem to be getting bigger!!How can you get rid of mosquito bites?!?
make a deep 'x' on it with your fingernail then cover it with salt. works every time!
neosporn works believe it or not. also, to take the pain away you can have someone slap the bite as hard as they possibly can. that takes the pain away. How can you get rid of mosquito bites?!?
Of course don't scratch, though I know that's so much easier said than done.

From all my time being outdoors I find the best thing is meat tenderizer (get one without salt) and a little bit of water made into a paste and rub that on the bites. Within a day, two at the most, the bites should be gone.
Get some hydrocortisone cream if they're itchy, and there's not much you can do for how they look. If you start feeling sick, then go to the doctor, you may have picked something up from the bites.
I've tried tea tree oil, and hydrogen peroxide

personally I think a little combination like

rub all the mosquito bites with peroxide

and then dab tea tree oil on, it may not work

for some people but it sure takes the itch out

for me
Get rid of them? No such thing.

Any bug you're not used to being bitten by will create a bigger reaction on your body.

FIRST: Are there any other symptoms, such as stuffy nose, swollen itchy eyes, fever, or other allergic reaction kind of things?

if yes, you may want to go to a dr. to get some anti-allergy medication until your body heals.

SECOND did you get your malaria shots and other vaccinations before travelling?

If no, you should definitely go to a dr.

If none of the above, you could get an over-the counter allergy medication that treats hives or skin rashes and take that for a few days (as directed on package)

Essential Oil of Lavender from your health food store can be applied by a cotton swab directly on the bites to help disinfect and speed healing. Don't use this for more than a couple of days or if you are allergic to lavender.
