My boyfriend and I are wanting to go somewhere beautiful and interesting to marry. We have looked into the Amalfi Coast (Italy). I have always wanted to go to India. Maybe Spain? We are not really interested in more obvious spots (ie. Jamacia, Mexico, Bahamas...) Any input would help.Any input on destination weddings?
That sounds like a wonderful idea! My favorite would be Australia. The water and beaches are beautiful, in the event you wanted to be married outside. However, they have many lovely landmarks as well. The people are extremely friendly, and the honeymoon would be packed full of exciting things to see and do. Good luck and congratulations!
India, particularly Kerala is beautiful. The houseboats would be a good experience for your honeymoon, even for your wedding!!

How about Ireland? It's beautiful, the people are so friendly, and it's the type of place that people love! I have friends who have married there and everyone has sung its praises. You could pick a castle or a quaint country setting.
