Amalfi coast in november?

i want to go to avoid the hot weather at other times. Will things be open or does it shut downAmalfi coast in november?
Early days in November, people in Capri still go to the beach in noon. The Mediterranean is a warm sea even in that month of the year. As far as shops is concerned, many are still open "half day" and prepare themselves for the Christmas holidays. Of course, the Amalfi coast won't have as many "ferry boats" to visit the island (due to rougher seas) but you'll be just fine. Less tourist, more space to walk through.
Lion of Juddah is right - the Amalfi Coast in November will be pretty quiet and a lot will be closed. November can be nice there even with a lot of the hotels shut, but it can also be windy and rainy sometimes. He's also right about May being a good time beore it gets really hot %26amp; crowded. Another option is September to early October after many of the tourists leave and it cools down some.Amalfi coast in november?
most of the places, restaurants, hotels etc. will be shut for winter.. they usually open up around easter time.

may is a lovely time to visit as it's not hot at all..
Shouldn't be a problem. Many people live there year round.
