It's very beautiful...also look up the Liguria Coast...it's very similar but in the north. Magical places. Go in the summer though....
Basically they have mountains on the seaside...and I mean right next to the seaside...and the roads all wind through the mountains through tunnels and below you can see the seaside and beaches...and sometimes only a car passes through these tunnels...
so imagine a convertible through these tunnels...you can smell the sea air and the smell of the mountains at the same time...you're driving with your swimming costume and flip flops...you stop off at a shack to eat a watermelon...then you drive on and stop further down for an iced tea at a bar made of straw...then you drive a bit further on it starts getting dark and you stop off at a restaurant where they serve fish which they just caught a few yards away....and everyone is friendly....and then you drive on and stop off in a town in a bar to have a coffee....
that's what it's like..

one of the most beautiful places I've ever been... please check out Cinque Terre! Pompei, Sorento, and Capri should definitely be seen as well
