Backpacking expenses?

i'm going to western europe and i have the plane tickets, passport, eurorail global pass. and i have 1000$ spending money, which is equivalent to 640 euros. will that be enough to cover hostels and food, etc? much appreciated!Backpacking expenses?
That 640 euros will last 2 and a half weeks tops, even if you are in inexpensive citys. if you need to use that to pay hostels, i say 1 and a half weeks. take a much much bigger budget even just to get by, the dollar is low against the euro, even the pound is doing badly, to go for 2 weeks and live economicaly i would take $1300, but dont expect much more than the basicsBackpacking expenses?
