Flight from Boston to Hawaii (stop in SEA) $835 per person
7 nights at the Grand Wailea Resort $319 per night (lowest level room).
Thanks for your input. Is this a good travel deal to Hawaii?
pretty steep
which island? sounds high though, better be nice.
i live on oahu. there are a TON of hotels in waikiki, so do your homework. Is this a good travel deal to Hawaii?
The Grand Wailea Resort is very nice, so that is a good price per night to be staying at a resort.
Is it the very best deal you can get? Well, that depends on what you're looking for. Do you want to stay at that specific resort? Do you want to stay near the oceanside? Are you going to be spending a lot of time in your hotel for those seven nights? Or will you be enjoying the beaches and nature most of the time?
Decide what it is that is most important to you on your trip to Maui, and then search for deals based on that information. If you're not going to spend a lot of time inside the hotel or just enjoy spending time at the resort, then a resort may not be the best option for you.
There are lots of travel deals to Hawaii right now, and this website has quite a few of them listed all in one place for your convenience: http://www.hawaii.com/weeklyhotdeals.php They also have information about Maui that might be helpful.
Don't settle until you've looked at the competitor websites and hotels. There's a guide to Maui from the New York Times that might also help in your decision making process: http://travel.nytimes.com/travel/guides/鈥?/a>
Good luck and I hope you find the best deal out there!
cheaper to go to mexico, nicer people too! rent a car stay far away from Waikiki,,,,,its a big fat tourist trap. drive all around, enjoy the water and weather, although you are in the beggining of rainy season now. Oahu had about 4 inches of rain the other day. 2 years ago, it rained everyday for 40 days. heavy traffic too
Pricey, but that's what I'd expect coming from the east coast. I found deals on United for $900/person for flight and 6 nights at a hotel in Waikiki from the midwest. You may want to see if they're still running specials.
Sounds high...GotoBus has 7 Day Hawaii packages including hotel accommodations and ground transportation for $765.
