im a guy who wants to see italy mainly the amalfi coast region.is it safe to travel here alone day/night? is there any nightlife? regarding the weather what is typical to clothes to wear,footwear also?Is the amalfi coast safe to travel alone?
It's as safe as anywhere in the UK. Pickpockets are the most likely problem. They prey on obvious groups of tourists. If you're on your own, and blend in with the locals, they'll probably leave you alone.
If you're over 12, don't wear shorts. That marks you out as a tourist to the pickpockets and as homosexual to the locals. Last time I was there, most youngish men were wearing casual trousers and long sleeved shirts - with the sleeves rolled up to the elbow. But fashions change.Is the amalfi coast safe to travel alone?
It is a beautiful place with a variety things to do including nightlife. You will need a few smart things if you plan to go out in the evenings. Regarding safety - I can't really comment, they certainly don't have an abnormally high crime rate, but muggings and attacks happen everywhere in the world.
