The very best way, and the cheapest in my mind if you go off season, is not to cruise, but to stay on land in one of the small cities such as Positano and drive or take the local bus, which operates up and down the Amalfi Coast, for pocket change... It gives you a better chance to experience the cliff cities and you can easily rent a boat and captain from your hotel for a day. Just a suggestion from someone who has been there several times....
