November is not necessarily the best time to visit the Amalfi Coast since it's part of the rainy season and some tourist oriented businesses will close, but it's not at all bad then either. The average daily highs in November are still in the 60s deg F (15 - 17 deg C) and the average low is a little below 50 deg F (10 deg C). The trade off is that it's much less crowded then and consequently easier to get around. Places like Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone in Ravello will be open for visits and you can still go to Capri.Which is a better vacation destination in Nov ,the Amalfi Coast of southern Italy or Santorini Greece?
Greece has major economic woes which will probably translate into higher tourist prices than normal. Amalfi is always expensive.
