Is there public transport from Brindisi to the Amalfi coast and how long would this trip take?

We are travelling from Corfu by ferry and expect to arrive in Brindisi around the 23 June this year. Any help would be appreciatedIs there public transport from Brindisi to the Amalfi coast and how long would this trip take?
Yes, there is. One option would be to take the train from Brindisi to Salerno (with a change in Taranto). From Salerno you can take a boat of bus along the Amalfi coast. Train schedules are here: http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/homepag鈥?/a> . The schedules for the boats %26amp; buses are here: http://www.amalficoastweb.com/amalfi/eng鈥?/a>

If you want to visit Pompeii while you're in the area, you can take the Circumvesuviana train from Sorrento. http://www.vesuviana.it/web/en The ruins are at the Pompei Scavi Villa Misteri stop.
