I'm looking to get married in Hawaii or one of the Island around Hawaii.
I've never been there and having problems finding a location - mainly because there is so much choice.
I don't want to get married on a beach (I don't want to get sandy whilst in my wedding dress) I'm edging more towards a resort wedding.
Does anyone know any 'different' and more unique resorts apart from the obvious and commercial ones like the Grand Wailea?
Thanks guys!Hawaii Wedding Locations?
My cousin had her wedding at Haiku Gardens. The place is just lovely. Their website is this http://haikugardens.com/. To help you with the rest of your planning, you can also try this website http://marrymehawaii.com.
I got married on the ocean lawns at the Sheraton Kauai resort on Poiipu beach, as we didn't actually stand on the sand my dress was fine, the Hyatt at this location is lovely too. However if you want something really different how about a wedding at the Fern Grotto on Kauai. Or a waterfall wedding (don't worry you wan't get wet lol).

Many local brides like to get married by the waterfall at the Kahala Hotel. The other poster is correct about Haiku Gardens being an excellent spot.
