Ok, here we go,

1 Sheraton at Black rock or Hyatt Kaanapali, if that what you mean, Hyatt get nod, but by very small amount, ok? Here why, Hyatt got great water park, not too much beach, but close to really good part Kaanapali beach, and Hyatt gots mobettam restaurants, maybe best Italian place on West coast of Maui, now, Sheraton at Black Rock great place to swim, snorkel, but not too good for eats, and pool kinda lame, ok?

2 Westin v. Wailea Beach Marriott...these guys dead even, both great place to stay, ok?

3. Fairmont v. Grand Wailea...both really nice, great rooms, but GW got pretty nice, but small beach, and best water park in island, so choice go to GW, ok?

4. Kapalua Ritz or $ seasons...you know same guy used to own both GW and 4 Seasons, on Wailea, you see him out early doing landscaping, he multi-millionaire,have big crew of gardeners, they do great job maintain grounds, but he like to do "finger-farm", yeah? Now these hotel almost compare apples and oranges, because so different, but they also great hotel, and each have special thing to do there, ok? So again, I say toss of coin, cause they both so great at they own niche, ok?

Here the thing, not important where you stay, high dollar, or just camp on beach, we invite you come, and enjoy, ok?
