Hawaii with 18 month old?

Have some points to stay free for 3 nights at a Hilton in Hawaii and I've narrowed it down to either Kauai or Maui (maybe Big Island) but have never been to Hawaii so really not sure....it's only 3 nights and with a baby also limited so not going to do any touring/sightseeing...has anyone stayed at the Hilton Kauai Beach Resort or the Waikoloa or the Grand Wailea? If so, please give opinions on these.....also, I'm a bit unsure of the Kauai one as you can't swim at the beach there!Hawaii with 18 month old?
I live on Kauai and love it, but if you're not going to sightsee, I wouldn't bother with Kauai. The Hilton is OK but it's not anywhere near as nice as the one in Waikoloa (Big Island) or the Grand Wailea on Maui!

I recommend the Hilton Waikoloa. There is a ton of stuff to do there and you never need to leave the resort if you don't want/have to. 3 nights isn't long, but if it's free, who cares? Have a great time and enjoy Hawaii!

I live in Maui and it is a very family friendly island for tourists. The Grand Wailea is beautiful and with the beach right there your little one can play all day. Hope this helps! Enjoy!
