What do you think of this hotel. If you stayed at it what was the best and worst part about it. I hear pools in hawaii are cold even in the summer months. Is this true for the grand wailea? How are the rooms and surrounding area. Is the food good??

The Grand Wailea is a beautiful resort with killer pools if you like to be in a pool with a thousand people. Lots of fun but very crowded. The swim up bar is great.. But again.. Over crowded.
Humuhumunukunukuapuaa's restaraunt is outstanding with beautiful sunset views and a lagoon surrounding .. A floating restaraunt. Very high in price so if you looking for affordable.. Don''t count on it.
Beautiful beach in fron and world class service is guaranteed.
Its a 5 star for a reason..

My wife %26amp; I stayed for a week in early October, after school started, to avoid the children - it worked. We both enjoyed the pools and lazy river. They were not cold. We are from the Phoenix area and would have noticed. We enjoyed the beach walks to the many nearby hotels. Great Food. Will go back again after we save up some $$$.
