Need help planning a trip of Western Europe (and central europe maybe)?

After my original question on whether to travel to valencia or pamplona, i thought id see if anyone has any advice or suggestions for the route i have so far.



the trip will last roughly around a month, using the eurorail (trains) as transport. The definite destinations are Lisbon where the trip will begin, onto Madrid, and then Barcelona which is currently the last destination although this could change - could travel onto france and/or central europe. So the trip consists of lisbon-%26gt;madrid-%26gt;valencia-%26gt;barcelona.



obviously that gives flexibility as the plan is to stay a few days at each place so additional places could be added as long as they aren't off the rough track from Lisbon - Barcelona via Madrid; Valencia can be crossed off the list for a better alternative?



Aim is to stay in good hostels, flying to lisbon and flying home from the last destination giving most use of the eurorail ticket (month use of europes rail system). Like a bit of culture and lots and lots of partying! Not interested in the chav-infested costa del sol or places like it, as it seems to be full of the people you leave britain to get away from. Any recommendations for the amount of money i should take? Don't intend on doing lots of shopping, mainly just money for hostels, food, partying and a bit of cite-seeing; i was thinking maybe 拢1000-1500? Have you never heard of GUIDE BOOKS?.. why don't you just go to the book store in any MALL and BUY A GUIDE BOOK for Europe... you DO already have EUROPE BY EURAIL... right? and you DO already have a copy of the Thomas Cook RAILWAY TIMETABLE... right.. so go BUY a GUIDE BOOK.. then you can plan your trip with REAL knowledge, rather than asking here on answers where 98 percent of these people have never been outside the state where they were born.
