Spending money for two weeks in Europe?

I'm going to Europe for two weeks with a girlfriend of mine and our itinerary is as follows: four days in Paris and the remaining ten in Italy (Venice, Florence, Capri, Rome). All travel/accomodation expenses will be taken care of before we leave NYC (hotel/hostels/airfare/eurorail pass). If I want to go to the museums/tourist attractions, food/drink, and some shopping is $2000-2500 USD enough, and how much is that in Euros. Only serious answers wanted, no comments. Anyone who has recently been to these places would be a GREAT help. Thanks!Spending money for two weeks in Europe?
The Dollar is not as strong as it used to be.

To buy one Euro cost you about $1.40. You need to check the currency, because it changes every day. Example, you are going to pay about $5.00 for a hamburger. Don't forget to learn some french before you go to Paris, because the french people avoid speaking any other language then french, even if they learn how to speak English at school.
How much did you end up spending?
