I have been living and studying in Spain for 5 months and am now going to start an extensive trip through Europe. I plan to go from Paris, France to Belgium then to Amsterdam then to Germany then to the
Czech Republic then to Austria and ending with Ireland and England.
My friend and I are going to purchase the 8 days, 5 countries select pass on the Eurorail but I am having trouble finding flights from Prague, Vienna or Salzburg to Dublin, Ireland where I will be staying with my family.
Is it possible to double back with the pass and fly out of Munich? This means I would be traveling to Germany twice...is that allowed? Or if anyone has any other suggestions that would be greatly appreciated! :) The only things that are concrete with my trip are that I am starting in Paris and need to end in Ireland (via flight). Thanks! How can I accurately plan my Euro-trip using the Euro-rail select pass?
With the Eurail pass, you can travel where you want within the limits of the countries selected and time constraints on the pass - feel free to go back to Munich.
You might also find these sites useful for finding budget flights within Europe. http://www.skyscanner.net/ , http://www.whichbudget.com/en/ Not knowing your specific dates, it's difficult to recommend any specific flights.
Ryanair and Aer Lingus both have direct flights from Prague to Dublin and there are more options with a connection elsewhere.
